I've just received copies of "PC for 10-year-olds: Learn Easily with Manga", introductry PC manuals for elementary school students. Thanks!

I've never thought of a PC manual for elementary school kids.
What I'd do when my kids entered elementary school and started using computers ...? Well, that's something that can never be known until the time comes, but probably I will be their teacher.
These books would be of a big help to me at the time.
Actually, that was the motivation behind writing this book.

The author himself could not find introductory PC manuals to give his children.
A double-pages spread explains one topic, and as the title suggests, the right pages contain manga and the left pages provide the explanation of each topic.

And that's not all. Thank to the severe but valuable advices from his children, the manga itself is quite funny.
In the second volume of the series ("Got Problems?"), there is a section called "Read with your parents" in which the author deals with topics such as one-click ware, viruses, and spams. It even provides things to consider when using bulletin boards and blogs.
How about a pair for your children? They are very readable, so our parents' generation might find them useful as well.
