Handmade Mobile Phone using W-SIM
February 15, 2008 4:00 PM
I read a blog entry titled “A guy who is handmaking mobile phones and phone jackets for W-SIM by WILLCOM [jp]”:
I found a guy who is making phone jackets for W-SIM, a general-purpose PHS module developed by WILLCOM! “Handmade jacket", literally. It comes with a display, type keys, and even a jog dial!!!
Aaaaaaawesome.
The guy is handmaking a phone jacket with a W-SIM card that actually works as a phone. The whole process is documented in his blog “Craft and Experiment Diary using Microcontroller [jp]”.
