Lunascape launched the “Lunascape Mobile 1.0” official version

July 31, 2007 8:53 PM

As reported here [jp]:

Lunascape released the official version of the “Lunascape Mobile 1.0” which is now downloadable on their Web site for free. Lunascape Mobile is a browser for Windows Mobile developed in Japan.

It’s only been a short time since they released the RC2. Wow.

Just after I heard the news, I downloaded it with my Advanced/W-ZERO3[es]. Thanks to W-OAM or the small file size, the installation took only 15 seconds or so. Quick!

While installing, it even asks you if you’d like to delete the older version. How nice.

Lunascape Mobile has been known for its breezing-fast launch, but I think the new version launches even faster.

The new version allows you to directly select “Favorite” from the Menu (users had to “long-push” the touch panel to select “Favorite” with the older version). Other changes include the feature to customize the setting of Internet Explorer and the addition of a button to jump to the ”LunaTV” portal.

It seems like improvements were made on various aspects .

For more information on these improvements, check out their official blog “Lunascape blog”.

I am happy to know that they added “Favorite” to the Menu.

According to the official blog, they’ve been receiving many requests from users on this point, but could not find the solution. But:

We finally found the way to do it on the day before the release date, and the implementation was easier than we thought.

It seems like a last-minute implementation, but anyway it’s a good news!

I'm going to use and explore the new Lunascale Mobile for a while.....
